Written as a retort to the UK Conservative Party claim that there is no Magic Money Tree, this song is meant to highlight the lie that is 'Trickle Down Economics' (The Trickle Down Effect) and show the huge and widening gap between the super rich and the rest of society

where money trickles down from the wealthy, but we know that's not correct

& all these millionaires, you don't see any living round here
people are scraping poverty and spreading it on fear
